Currently a four year school, it began as a three year school. The first year classrooms were filled with juniors from other high schools in the area and sophomores fresh out of junior high. Traditions had not yet been established at that time, but now the school abounds in them.
The curriculum at Cypress High School is varied and besides the basics also offers theater, multi media, photography and many shop classes. For sports and physical education there is available a track, handball/racquetball courts, tennis courts, a swimming pool, large areas for field sports and a gymnasium equipped for basketball, weight training and many other indoor sports.
You can go to Cypress High School's official website for more information. A link to the site is located on this page.
